8(a) Certification
TLC’s 8(a) certification by the U.S. Small Business Administration expires in November 2020. The benefits of this certification include:
- Government purchasers can order goods and services from TLC on a sole-source basis with a contract ceiling of $4 million.
- Federal acquisition policies encourage Federal agencies to award a certain percentage of their contracts to SDBs; over 25 Federal agencies can contract directly with certified 8(a) firms.
- 8(a) firms can form joint ventures and teams to bid on contracts, enhancing our capability to perform larger prime contracts.
Woman-Owned Small Business Federal Contract Program
The Program provides equal access to federal contracting opportunities for women-owned small businesses (WOSB). The program allows contracting officers to set aside specific federal contracts for WOSBs.
